Wait what's this whole 'ste//rek is racist' thing?? I've seen it a few times now but I've never seen any actual reasoning behind it I'm confuse

We’re called that by a very loud minority that is angry at the fact that we focus on a pairing that isn’t about their fave - the main character of the show, scott. And since both stiles and derek are white and scott isn’t we are all racist in those people’s eyes.

[don’t get me wrong, I’m not gonna say there aren’t racist people in the fandom (there are racist people everywhere, sadly) but the fact remains that shipping sterek=/=being racist]
