Aphrodite and Micky Finn - Bad Ass ! (12″) Single
07/08/15
One of the filthiest bass lines known to man has to be from none other than drum and bass masterpiece ‘Bad Ass !’, a mammoth of fire and flat out mind crumbling beats that will have you moving on mountains! I use to attend some great D&B nights in my home island of Jersey when I first started going out to clubs as there was a huge scene for it there, and thus by all accounts it’s still pumping to this very day. Aphrodite and Micky Finn are without a doubt the true innovators of this very movement and gave birth to a sound that rippled dance floors throughout the globe and beyond. Even the likes of The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett has praised them for their wall of absolute turbulence, which to be fair deserves as much adoration as their more mainstream dance pioneering brothers! Play this as loud as you possibly can.
