Samskritam Oral Proficiency Micro-Certificate (SOPMC) - HUA
It is a Micro Certificate in Spoken Samskritam (MCSS) is a four-quarter 6-credit-hour, leisurely study of Samskritam as a spoken language. It teaches students who are familiar with that they are familiar with the Samskritam (aka "Sanskrit") or DevanAgarii script but have lacking fluency in the conversational aspect and to attain a degree of Conversational proficiency through simple, real-world situations and skits.
In the Hindu University of America, Samskritam is approached as a living language that inspires and enriches the culture and civilization as well as its wisdom and worldview as well as its spirituality and philosophy. In addition, considering Samskritam into consideration as an actual language the MCSS course is focused on a variety of aspects that comprise the Sanskrit language, including writing, reading and speaking, as well as listening and understanding. The ability to access Samskritam can give students to speak fluently and easily. The MCSS is a base for all students starting from High School.
There is a tremendous sense of satisfaction that comes from mastering a new language, no matter the language. Each new word you learn brings a new feeling of achievement, and when students master vocabulary, learn the fundamental grammar rules, and begin to construct complete sentences, each one is a significant achievement similar to advancing in the game.
Each test and quiz that is completed successfully can trigger an endless cycle of virtuousness that leads the student to greater success. If the language that is being learned is Samskritam and the pleasure of learning is multiple as it gives an immediate access to the master key of the current Hindu Civilization, to the stories and texts of its rich tradition of dharma yoga, jnana, music, art and dance as well as the many spiritual and cultural traditions.
The MCSS is aimed at students who are eager to master and communicate in the language of their choice, and students who want to learn about the works and literary works from the Hindu and Indic world, as well as its many related knowledge systems. There is no prior knowledge of Samskritam is required and the medium of instruction is initially English. As students improve their ability, the language of instruction will gradually shift to Samskritam in a manner that is easy and comfortable for the students.

After completing the course of study, students will be able to attain an understanding of the Sanskrit language in the six dimensions that follow:
(a) Reading correctly pronunciation (i.e. the alphabets, sentences, and words); paThanam(b) Writing with no errors (Forming coherent sentences and paragraphs); lekhanam(c) listening (Comprehending Sanskrit speech when someone else is talking); shravaNam
(d) Conversation (Being capable of speaking grammarally correct Sanskrit in a manner that other people can understand what it means); sambhAShaNam, and
(e) Comprehensive (Being capable of engaging with complicated sentences, both spoken and written, and understand the meanings of them without assistance. avagamanam
After completing the three phases, or in tandem students will be offered the option of taking on additional advanced studies in Sanskrit via an additional program called the Certificate Program in Samskritam Proficiency (CPSP) which is also offered through HUA. HUA. In all cases, students will be part of a "Higher Education" ecosystem that allows for advanced learning in Hindu studies, as in Sanskrit Literary studies. Both the MCSS as well as the CPSS are designed in a way that is innovative and based on an excellent curriculum.
