Goals. When I move down the shore I really want to start growing most of my own food. I’ve tried at this house but it’s difficult because it’s not fenced in and the deer are really tame, so they eat almost everything. It’s also very shady so a lot of veggies that aren’t greens grow too slowly. But down the shore I will have full sun, a fenced in yard, and soil that is a little too sandy but not compacted and therefore easily amenable. The recycling center down there also has free bricks, cinder blocks, and compost, so it should be easy to make raised beds even if they won’t be as pretty as these wooden ones.
