hi there! how are you? i've been writing the 2025 microfics and stumbled upon the incest chicken prompt, i didnt really understand it, is it a meme or something?? i'm not american so it flew over my head tbh

Hello! I’m well 💕

So, its a phrase I made up based on gay chicken. Gay chicken is basically a game where two guys touch each other more and more intimately until the other chickens out. (E.g. a hand on the thigh that travels up, or leaning closer and closer as if for a kiss) the goal is to get the other to chicken out (get so freaked out that they typically flinch away).

So incest chicken is the same concept as that but instead of chickening out from being gay it’s from the incest.

Hi hi! I have a question!

I want to do an entire year of incest fics. 365 days full of sweet sweet familial loving. Which means I’ll need a lot of prompts. Unfortunately, I’m in my first year of uni right now, so it won’t be soon (I mean it might be, since microfics and all), but I’d like to have a list ready beforehand. Because I’m deciding to play smart lol.

Do you happen to have that many? If so, please don’t worry about rounding them up if it takes too long to do. I can poke around the blog for em! Anything to procrastinate on my history homework that I have in my English class fsr…

A while ago I tried for a full month of shipcest (I was doing a full year of drabbles for my favorite rarepair), and while I did find a lovely list by demented-dukey, it only went up to 25, so I had to scrounge up a few more elsewhere and ended up with some leftovers, which made me sad lol.

I mainly write f/f but also f/m and f/f/m too, if that matters any.

We do! For @macrocest bingo we had ~1,400 prompts, and about 500 of them were sfw, with a mix of fluff and angst. If you send a DM I can share the sfw prompt list with you. (I don’t want to make it public because the next round of Macrocest Bingo starts this summer and we might use some of the prompts again.)

It's such a shame that you only post a prompt once a week cause I LIVE for them, and I feel so terribly starved for incest prompts. I'm always so eager for the next Wednesday to come around.

(I don't suppose you know any blogs that currently and consistently post such things? Preferably without too much other things mixed in, and not sexually explicit - though suggestive is fine. No worries if not.)

Well we do have bigger events like Cestember and Macrocest bingo happening over at @macrocest , though those aren’t routine prompts. We collect other incest prompts there and we also promote other incest events events there.

I know @taylorswiftmicrofic is very inclusive, although it’s Taylor Swift-themed prompts any fandom can respond. The mods there are super nice.

Stuffed with Love does monthly incest events. I am not sure about others that are incest-themed but I am always looking!

Hi! As someone who can only write tiny things (hitting 1k is a cause of celebration for me 😅😂) and loves incest, discovering this event was like Christmas coming early. AHHHHH this is so sweet and it makes me so happy! I am a fellow short form writer too and I loved microfic prompts but I was nervous writing incest for them. This was really just something I wanted to do for me and I decided to share. I am so glad other people like it too!! Hopefully your invite comes soon!!

btw, you can post on tumblr in the meantime if you are comfortable with that!
