Comprehending voice-to-skull communication is actually a lot like trying to have a conversation with someone who only knows how to mumble-rap. Most of the time it's just barely decipherable, but also a lot of the time I'm like "I have no fucking idea what you just tried to say but it was totally incoherent as far as I'm concerned."
And then I'll always hear the voice attempting to repeat itself for me in a more irate tone, but I still just can't even remotely figure out what they're saying so I don't even give a response to their statement/demand/whatever insult or threat they've come up with this time.
Application of the microwave hearing technology could facilitate a private message transmission. It may be useful to provide a disruptive condition to a person not aware of the technology. Not only might it be disruptive to the sense hearing, it could be psychologically devastating if one suddenly heard "voices within one's head.
