My “old lady” status was elevated to another level today when I brought out the bigger shopper cart to bring home a microwave oven. My first microwave oven. I know, I held out for a minute y’all. It helped that the microwave oven was on sale at Target. Not to mention, I was sick of reheating food using pots and pans. This purchase allows me to use my Cook’s Companion Microwave Express Covered Cooker to make a fajita-like style chicken with southwest chipotle seasoning and some leftover onions, and red, green, and yellow peppers. On another note, I’m looking forward to warmer weather where the urge/need to hibernate will evaporate.
