Summary: Post-15x19, Adam is dangerously ill and is too weak to consent to possession. Attempts to cure Adam fail while he and Michael are in separate bodies.
Then a handsome man called Emery surprisingly heals Adam successfully with magic.
Michael learns that Lilith is back and she wants revenge. Michael being unable to heal Adam was a part of Lilith's revenge against the Archangel for killing her.
Michael finds out from Jack that one way exists to cure Adam. Michael hates the solution.
Michael’s refusal to execute the cure and subsequent departure back to Heaven upsets Adam.
Without the cure, Adam needs to remain close to Emery to keep his sickness at bay.
Will Michael and Adam regain what they had once before? Or should they accept that the next chapter in their lives leaves them separated?
