really enjoying thinking about how Charles kept trying to rehabilitate Magneto even though they fought like every week for years but then the moment Magneto threw his philosophy back into his face and tried to rehabilitate Apocalypse he got all pissy like that man did noooott care lmaooo

I’m gonna say something and I think some of you are gonna hate me for it.

As much as I want Cherik to be canon, I don’t particularly want some big profession of love that is explicitly romantic. I don’t really want a kiss or a direct “I love you.”

Because while I view their relationship as romantic, it’s also so much more than that. The devotion and love they have for each other is something so beyond words and labels that I feel everything they’ve ever done for each other means infinitely more than any traditional profession of love ever could. I feel like a kiss would almost feel cheep compared to what they’ve already shown.

So I don’t really want some dramatic scene for them.

I DO want it to be canon, but subtle and domestic. Them stealing a moment away to kiss when things are fine, not a huge moment, or even a huge change in their dynamic, just a small moment or two.
