Mesmerizing Lake

Over on the east side of the metroplex, two lakes having been combined into one over the years. Fairly priced restaurants and boat rentals available to the general public. City keeps up with taking care of the beaches. There is a small private beach area for a yacht club for upper district folks.

Infernal Reservoir aka Hell Lake

Use to be a decent lake far down from the lower district, till it got used mostly as a dump site. Water always weirdly warm and there's always that rumor that if you jump in you're coming out with an extra arm. Citizens Uprising has been working with local groups to get it clean, some small sections safe to swim in.

Silverplay Filmworks

Started off as dubbing company, hiring voice actors to dub over various animes. Now it's a film production company, focused more on independent animated movies and shows. While still providing a more variety of dubbing opportunities to voice actors in the area.

Medieval Times

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a live two-hour show with a delicious four-course feast served medieval-style, or without silverware. Guests cheer for six brave Knights as they compete in games of skill, authentic jousting matches and swordfights in an attempt to win the tournament. The main storylines change once every three months, with changes to the royal court and knight line up. Sometimes the King is looking for the brave knight to marry his daughter, sometimes the Prince has been kidnapped by one knight turned traitor. Costumes are encouraged with a stage set for photo ops. For a fee your birthday can be called out along with a special desert brought to you. The whole show block can be rented out where guests are treated as visiting nobles or royalty, while being given a custom storyline for the occasion. They also have weekly seasonal shows for holidays.

DART (Public Transportation)

Use to be owned and ran by a transit agency, however due needing more and more financial help, it was eventually taken over and funded by the Bettencourt family, who took the chance to expand their own private car services. They increased and improved the bus lines, light rail lines, ect. This made it easier for the general public to be able to travel through the whole DFW area and even beyond. With a more affordable direct line to other cities in Texas like Austin and Houston. It was a huge boom to the city's economy with more jobs with decent pay being offered. For the more elite, there is a private car service with even the option to be assigned a permanent personal driver.

Wheeler Ranch

A ranch on the outskirts of the Metroplex that is owned by the Wheeler family. Their primary focus is horses, but they also raise and keep other livestock as well, many of which can be seen at the yearly state fair. Although it is not a requirement to work there, many of the employees at the ranch are accomplished in various equestrian sports, such as showjumping or in the rodeo scene. Once affiliated with the Skyport Mafia, the current owners have broken away from their past ties and are adamant about maintaining their neutrality.

Cliff Hangers

Cliff Hangers Dallas is the largest gym in the Cliff Hanger family. Complete with a massive top rope and lead area, autobelays, a huge freestanding boulder with multiple top out areas, a dedicated yoga and fitness room, and a party room, it is the perfect place to come and enjoy a day of climbing with your family, friends, or party.

The Cosmic Emporium

A small, independent apothecary and spiritual sanctuary catering to a variety of New Age practices, such as alternative medicine, crystal healing, astrology, tarot reading, and meditation. They stock an impressive range of related paraphernalia, often handcrafted, as well as provide services related to the above.

Bluebonnet Publishing

A subdivision of Bluebonnet Media, and sister company of Bluebonnet Press, they are a book publisher boasting an impressive roster of local talent. They maintain close ties to Kismet Studios which provides a direct pipeline for authors to get their books optioned for movies. Like other media companies under the Big Three umbrella, they are allowed to operate independently with the caveat that corporate may step in if required. Additionally, they have their own chain of bookstores that also stocks titles from other publishers (for a small fee, of course), often absorbing smaller, independent bookstores while allowing them to retain their original name and staff.
