MIA FOWLER as DOT BROOKE
Mia is a freshman in Pierson College at Yale. She is a member of Red Hot Poker, Heritage Theatre Ensemble, and various random clubs that she has accidentally signed up for. For the most part she enjoys eating and watching everything available on Netflix. She is super excited to work with Rebecca and everyone involved in Middlemarch. :)

CBG as BILLIE LADISLAW
CBG enjoys moral philosophy and building fun stuff with people. She has never acted on film before but has acted in a few small theatre performances. CBG does not know what else should go in a bio like this one, so she will provide you with facts you may find useful or simply irrelevant to your life goals: CBG is somewhat tall and enjoys wearing corduroy pants, especially if they are a relaxed shade of purple. There are more inedible objects than edible objects. The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is the closest large galaxy to the Milky Way and can be seen with the naked eye in the right conditions.

LOLA HOURIHANE as JAMIE CHETTAM
Lola is a dropout major with a keen interest in procrastination which they would like to pursue more. They are a prose editor and a spoken word artist, with projects to elevate LGBTQIA+ voices through spoken word. They previously played a wall in A Midsummer Night's Dream, a performance which brought their grandmother to tears (of shame). Lola is being subsumed by Jamie in their everyday life more than they would care to admit. Lola has started to wear beanies since joining the cast. Send help.

KAI NUGENT (Sonnet 23) as MAX GARTH
Kai is currently a freshman at Yale University, where he majors in African American Studies with a concentration in History. After graduating, he hopes to attend law school and go into civil rights law. Kai grew up in Los Angeles, CA, where he attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, majoring in Theatre. Kai fell in love with acting during his first play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, when he was five and hasn't looked back since. In his free time, Kai enjoys playing basketball and making sarcastic remarks.

Sofía Campoamor as CELIA ARROYO
Sofía is a sophomore Music major from Washington, D.C. She sings with the a cappella group Mixed Company of Yale, where she is Assistant Music Director and Performance Director. She has worked on many Yale theater productions in a variety of positions, onstage and off. Recent acting credits include Odessa (Water By the Spoonful), June (Marisol), and Cineseas (Lysistrata). When she isn’t writing songs, she can be found wearing hats, eating Honey Nut Cheerios, or trying to bring Harry Potter into an academic discussion. CARLOS GUANCHE as THOMAS LYDGATE
Carlos is going to be an actor-biologist-physicist-doctor-engineer-writer when he grows up. He hasn't yet figured out a catchier name for the profession, but he's sure given time he'll get there. His hobbies include playing video games and taking on bizarre dorm-improvement projects that his roomies just LOVE. Oh, and acting and improv, but those seemed like givens. He quite enjoys a night on the town (i.e. walking around New Haven while making really loud whale noises), but he feels truly at home when he's sitting in his room pretending to do homework while surrounded by friends. He is so thrilled to be a part of Middlemarch, even though he would probably get into some fairly big fights with Lydgate.

ZAK ROSEN as EDWARD CASAUBON
Zak is a current Yale freshman and an aspiring actor and playwright. Having performed in various stage productions prior to and since arriving at college, Middlemarch will be his first web series. Hobbies include spontaneous dancing, walking aimlessly, and constructing an elaborate series of fantasy lives and alternative realities which at times do and do not incorporate various real life friends, enemies, and acquaintances. He would like to thank Rebecca, his tenacious director, for the incredible amount of thought and effort she has put into this project, and he hopes viewers will dislike him, but not too much.

Ariel is a Junior in college studying Psychology with a focus on neuroscience. She enjoys listening to music, cooking, and getting into long circular discussions (fights) about political philosophy. She is obsessed with the original series of Star Trek, and is eagerly awaiting the day they build Starfleet Academy in her home town of San Francisco.
