Thank you for making Middlemarch. It is magical. The writing, acting, cinematography, music...everything is so well done. I happened across the series fairly near the beginning and was immediately captivated. I'm a chronically ill, housebound, fairly-newly-identified queer and had no idea how badly I needed to see parts of myself represented - nor how much I'd fall in love with these characters and their stories. Sending heartfelt congratulations and my warmest wishes.

i spent a lot of today binge watching this really excellent web series called ‘Middlemarch: The Series’ which is a modern re-telling of George Eliot’s Middlemarch with lots of lgbt+ characters and it deserves so many more views than it currently has, it’s SO good and the character tension is just amazing. if you like people drama or lgbt+ web series or classic literature or all of the above please go watch it:
