After some mental struggle, I forced myself to leave the house and go outside to paint in the Fells. Frustrating, satisfying; surrounded by good smells and visited by many curious dogs. (Bonus photo of some of the blueberries I picked in my garden afterwards!)

My chief dissatisfaction is that the trees I painted don't look like conifers. Still struggling with getting forms across. (It didn't help that I forgot a pencil...)

Also still bedeviled by the question of how to commit to a lighting scheme when the cloud cover is constantly changing?!
