Birthday celebrations [Tony/Thor]
Tony sat on the sofa in his entertainment room and sighed. Today was his birthday, the age didn't matter to him nor did the fact that it was his birthday. What bothered him was that most seemed to have forgotten. Anyone in SHIELD would know, it was in his file, but nobody else would and he didn't really mind that. He was certain that JARVIS would have said something to at least one of the team. Pepper and Rhodey had remembered, but that seemed about all for the moment. He started scrolling through the movies he owned to see what he felt like watching, not expecting to see anyone.
Nightmare: Everyone is gone. Bruce went back to India because your constant drinking made him scared for his safety. Thor is King of Asgard, he doesn't want to come back to Midgard, least of all for you. Natasha and Clint don't want to bother with your behaviour any more, they could only take so much. Loki can't stand the one person who truly stopped him. You. Rhodey had enough of your crap. And Steve and Pepper? You pushed them away once too much. You are alone. Just you and your echo.
Tony woke up to feel dampness on his cheeks and he scrubbed the tears away quickly. He was alone in the Tower, he knew it without even having to check, and he could easily believe that his nightmare was his reality. He got up and put on some pyjama pants and took himself to his minibar, where he proceeded to get himself as drunk as he possibly could.
