Ok then.

Open up Reaper and add a track.

Menu – Track – Insert new track…

Go to your new track,

  On the left hand side there is a little dull red button ‘ar’

As to give a better insight into the workings behind my composition, I've included a screen grab of a selection of the instrumentation I'm using. You'll notice a varied mix of electronic and orchestral instruments as to best fit the themes and styles desired in my chosen style. 

I've heavily edited various synths as to create a sci-fi like ambience in the music, and I've also used panning as a way to distort the listening experience, and immerse the listener in a surrealistic and futuristic environment.

Considering buying some kind of midi audio recorder. I want to start messing around with music. I love playing music on my keyboard and have always wanted to do more with it. Any advice or suggestions from anybody would be greatly appreciated.
