First off, this not a scary story it's a genuine inquiry. So as a kid we would play this game called "Midnight Murder". This game would be basically the opposite of hide-and-seek. The "Murderer" would go off and hide while The "Detectives" would all stay at the home base and count 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, etc then at 11 o'clock they would count from 1-60 to signify minutes. The Detectives would then shout "Midnight Murder" to signal that the hunt had started. Once the Detectives found the Murderer they would have to run back and tag the base before the Murderer tagged and killed them. They were not allowed to return until they actually saw the Murderer. The first person back would then be the Murderer next round. My question- were we the only kids who played this game?
