DISCOVER: Midnight Pilot’s self-titled album illustrates diversity and breathes fresh air into the Americana-rock genre
Midnight Pilot is an emerging four piece group from Nashville, TN, and that is illustrated in the unique sound they possess. Their new album exemplifies sounds ranging in comparison from The Wallflowers to early Tom Petty. But it is on the catchy chorus hooks on tracks like ‘Taking my Chances,’ that provide the listener an enjoyable listen. “Give Me What You Gave to Him,” provides an energizing and youthful feel to what otherwise might be considered a soft rock or adult alternative song.

If you want to check out a sample of their best songs that show the range of genres that compile on the album: “Taking my Chances,” “Let Loose,” “Again and Again,” and “Elizabeth.” Their album is now available to stream on Spotify, and is available to download on the sites Noisetrade and Itunes.
