As much as I love these romance novels, my heart tears in every book. These people don't actually exist. I've decided to create a fictional lover in my head. I'm already marrying myself, so I told myself I'm okay with that 😊
Book Review: Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian
This book was a great start to an amazing series. Lara Adrian's imagination shows in her ability to expertly craft a story that grabs you from page one and keeps you hooked until the end. The writing is flawless and gives a new view on the concept of vampires and their mates. I love how this book was somewhat of a love story while being an action novel with warriors fighting to keep the species safe. This particular story shows that needing to rely on someone, even if you are a ruthless warrior, does not make you weak. It makes you stronger by always having someone to help you and read you. It also shows the power in misunderstanding and the need to keep channels of communication open when in a relationship. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book and the entire series.
