"you have to get up, dude. you gotta go.” corinna’s tone for the first time in her life sounded gravely serious, despite the fact that she’d been poking the other woman until they awoke. it was the fact that they were step-sisters that forced her to take her latest little hookup seriously, though it wasn’t something she’d ever do in the past. typically she’d be up cooking breakfast and trying to work out if they were as hot and cool when they were sober as when they were drunk, not rushing them out of her bed. she knew her opinion on her wouldn’t be changing any time soon, but she also knew that having that opinion was just asking to maybe have her life ruined or something. “we fucked up real bad.” she said, wincing as they seemed to come to the realisation as well of what they’d done, though corinna probably could have regretted it a little more than she did.

Celeste wasn’t used to having help with Darcy. She had been raising her, mostly alone until the girl came into her life. She was standing on her front porch, coffee cup in hand as she looked out at the road. She hadn’t even heard the other girl come up until words came out of her mouth, catching Celeste’s attention. Turning to her, she quirked up an eyebrow. “Sorry, what were you saying, babe?” She asked in a quiet tone.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Corrine’s tone was confidently strong, and it matched her stubbornness. This actress did not talk about her personal life. Her murdered manager? Her possessive boyfriend? She wasn’t the highest-paid actress, or well known, but she knew how to play a role, very convincingly... And that was to avoid all questions attained in that direction. Though, it wasn’t everyday that she was recognizable by the public, being stopped by a reporter (of any kind) was very surprising. 

Corrine expected a photo opportunity to take place, in which she was very willing to get her ‘face’ out there, and be even more discovered, but questions were pressed, in a inappropriate setting. Having stopped and interrogated made the woman furious. Her smile immediately faded. And with that, a sharp glance was shot towards the girl. Even if she seemed, or at least appeared young, the actress was not pleased. 

“Leave me alone.” Grasping the strap of her expensive Guicci purse, Corrine’s knuckles turned white. Never, did she deem as an emotional person, but it all happened to take a toll on her, and wasn’t a comfortable subject to press on. She was fine, Charley was only looking out for her. And her manager? Liam tried his hardest to find her the best gigs... all in which she wanted more from. Killing gave her adrenaline over acting, but for now, her career was more important.

Rule number one: never using your powers in public. 

It was an important rule, one that her mother had drilled into her head for as long as Ronnie could remember. A rule that Veronica had already broken it three times this week alone ---twice at work in the ER and once on the Subway platform on her way home. In her defense, all three times were kids. What kind of a monster ignored kids in pain? All of that was besides the point now. Somehow, someway, somewhere they had seen her.

“Listen....you can’t tell anybody, okay? There are people who will come looking for me if you do.” Her grip on their wrist was tight, her eyes wide, begging them to hear the truth in her words, to understand the danger they would potentially put her in. “Please...” { @midnighthcurs}

“So I’ve been doing some research...” Leia started, opening her laptop onto a specific page. “Turns out, not only is our show one of the most popular comedies around, but the fans ship us. I mean really ship us.” She said, showing her friend the various gifsets and meta posts about the way their characters acted in episodes. Further down, she showed her photos of them at press events and parties and some of the fans still talked about heart eyes. “I just think it’s adorable. Don’t you?”

Heather couldn’t wait to share the news. It wasn’t every day that she got offered to join a fricking tour! Obviously she’d have to be away from home for a little bit, but it was an amazing opportunity nonetheless. Heather hoped that her partner would be equally as excited. Practically running home, she dashed into their shared apartment, a wide grin on her face. “Babe? I have to tell you something!”

[ @midnighthcurs ] For the last eighteen months, Iris had been tracking a mischievous entity. Was she the most experienced for the task? Not exactly. Plenty of hunters, more qualified, had been requested to do search for this Extra Dimensional Being. Many have failed and now here was Iris putting herself on a mission considered impossible. The being was menacing The US for years and someone finally had the balls to try again. Though this entity would not come easily, Iris was determined more than ever to prove experience was nothing but a number. For those eighteen months, it has led her on a wild goose chase before hiding in a town unknown. Iris tracked it up to a front door. God knows why it chose to do this, but that's what happened. Would it hide in a human body? Would it murder a human for entertainment? To strike terror? Iris couldn't be sure, but she couldn't be afraid either. Knowing how this would seem to the stranger, she tried to remain coy. Impersonal. Iris moved in across from the entity’s location and a few days later decided to introduce herself to the new neighbor. What she didn't expect, once the door opened, was a familiar face. Her face. On someone else. "You've got to be kidding me," Iris breathed. She tilted her head in confusion, unsure of what to do or say. Was the entity toying with her? Had it shape shifted? There was no way. "Who--- What the hell?"
