Things have been quiet as of late, almost too quiet. I really should invest in a hobby, or something. Maybe I’ll find a keyboard, or perhaps a guitar, something I can put to good use. It has been far too long since I’ve played.

Good company really is how you make someplace feel like home and I certainly made the right choice of first company in my new place. Not that I would have had anyone else over first, but I really am glad it was her. Peace is quite a beautiful thing among all this chaos.

My darling pet took her last breath today. Such a pity. I quite enjoy the taste of Creole blood. Now to find a new one to fill her place.

You never realize how much you really don’t like the cold until you get excited because the low in a place is close to the same as the high where you came from. However, I’m starting to feel like places have a tendency to fall apart after I leave them. At least New Orleans is still standing...

I'm so repulsed at the sights of this town. Vegas is more classy than this part of New Orleans.
