Gem liked this market better than the ones at home. The open air, the cool breeze... not the mention the store owners being so willing to share food.

“What a pretty Glaceon,” one of them said, giving her a kelpsy berry. “Where’s your trainer?”

Where’s your...? Gem looks around. Her human isn’t there! Gem dashes off down the street. She has to find Pia!

Hiro was grinning as he walked by all the subjects cells, trying to find one in particular. The subject he had been tasked to train, for the day at least. Subject S, crossed with the Pokemon Sceptile, and oh was he looking forward to this. Finally, he made it to the cell door that Subject S lied behind. With a sadistic grin, he quickly slammed the door open and called “Fucking up and atem, Subject S, it’s time for fucking training, and I don’t fucking take no for an answer.”

Hiro was fully prepared to bring about punishment here and now if the subject didn’t get up and get moving. He didn’t take insubordination or disobediance lightly, and was sadistic enough to enjoy dishing out punishment.

  Virgil glances down at a clipboard he had been given. It has four pages, listing information, dangers, tips, other things about subjects he’s been assigned to. He anxiously takes a deep breath, reading over each page carefully. 

  Subject Q. “Chivalry”. A Silvally.   Subject Y. “Yukio”. Combined with Banette.   Subject S. “Mallow”. Combined with Sceptile.   Subject #11. “Matt”. Combined with Sharpedo.

  At.. at least one is a Grass-type. It’d be easier to get along well with her, right? It says she’s pretty docile, too, right..?

“Well... this is my life, now, I guess.”

Samus assumed this planet was desolate except for hostile creatures. She thought wrong. There were incredibly human-like organisms (unless they are humans themselves ) and they seemed to happily coexist with the unbelievably dangerous-looking wildlife; even taming them.

Finding Ridley on this increadibly strange planet was going to be hard and people gave her a lot of funny looks as she stood there looking around in full armor One asked her if she was an astronaut- another asked her if she was a deep sea diver. At least the natives of this planet were capable of English.

Kiawe shrugs, there was nothing he could do about it now, they’d just have to cross that bridge when they get to it. Now’s not the time to worry about silly little things like that, nows the time to unwind and have some fun. They’d gone through the trouble of making some time to hang out, why have it be ruined by something so minuscule?

“Right, shouldn’t be that big of a deal then.” He says with a nod, Mallow’s dad seemed sensible enough to let them get a free bite to eat, he was practically a family friend.

“I’ll try to remember next time, I’m not usually the one to make anything so it totally slipped my mind to pack them.”

(MidnightMallows) I Headcanon that while the two don't see each other often, they probably do meet every now and then for battles or to discuss the current events of their jobs. I feel that in said battles, they're probably evenly matched, with Sophocles winning a little more often. After all, Togedemaru is a Tank and immune to 2 of the major status effects.

it all sounds good to me

plus, soph’s work outside of captain stuff would focus more on battling (esp. if you consider the uh.. i forget the name (battle agency?) but the thing they added to festival plaza in usum, plus him challenging the league on occasion, and so on, so he would naturally have a bit more battle ~~expertise

he’d still enjoy battling her though bc it’s not like she’d be a pushover + he doesn’t have as much experience battling grass types

seems like it’d be a decent challenge for the both of them, which is something he’d appreciate
