He’s heard about friends practicing kissing together but he always suspected it was just an urban legend or something.
"You want to kiss me," he says, disbelieving.
"I want to save your sorry ass," Bucky corrects him. "But if you don’t want to… If you’re too chicken, perhaps…"
You make such a fantastic Steve. I'm always so happy to see your cosplays on my dash.
Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you like them! :)

Title: 3PM, Every Thursday Author(s): midnighttypewriter Chapter(s): 19/? Word Count: 22828 Ship: James "Bucky" Barnes\Steve Rogers Summary: Bucky really should be focusing on his science project, but the LGBTAQ group and its founder/president are very distracting. (AKA: The fact that the Science Club and the Art Club aren't supposed to mingle might just be the smallest of Bucky's problems.)
Personal Rating: Curling up with a hot cocoa and cat and forgetting the world exists. My Reading Status: Chapter 19 of (current) 19 Notes: The author also runs an amazing tumblr.

Convincing Steve.
Thank you :)
“Oh baby,” Bucky answered with a smirk. “I’ll show you sweet talk.”
“You’re all talk,” Steve answered him, and Bucky regretted the fact that he was friends with someone with a quicker mouth than he had. “It’s sweet you have trouble with.”
“I’m a smooth talker.”
“Less sweet, more sour,” Steve mused.
“Ah ha!” Bucky crowed, poking Steve’s side as he grinned at him like he was the clever little shit he thought he was. Perfect opening. “Pucker up, baby, if I’m so sour.” He pursed his lips dramatically.
“Wow.” Steve seemed less impressed by Bucky’s non sequitur and more like he was looking back on the last twenty years of his life and wondering how they ever became friends. Steve gave him that expression about three times a week. Not only was Bucky used to it, but he’d figured out years ago that it was just another reason that Steve would always be with him.
“It’s not that big of a deal, right?” Bucky asked, feeling a bit vulnerable with the sudden uncertainty of what they were about to attempt. “We can pretend to be in love in love for a while, can’t we? I mean,” he continued. “Is it really pretending when we’re clearly platonic soulmates?” He said it sarcastically, because platonic soulmates? Seriously? But on the other hand, yeah, of course they were platonic soulmates. If there was anyone who that term could be applied to, it would be Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers.
Steve shrugged and rubbed his shoulder in a comforting matter. They were so tactile already. What would faking a relationship look like? “It’s not really pretending so much as it is allowing ourselves to be aware that the possibility is there.” The look on Steve’s face was just as uncertain as Bucky felt. “Right?”
They were staring at each other.
There was a certain amount of comfort to be taken from that, Bucky decided, trying not to dwell on the fact that Steve’s words were both exactly what he needed to hear and a truth that would be best for both of them to either face full on or avoid entirely. “Right.”
God. Bucky rubbed his face, trying not to think about it. It was impossible not to wonder what it would take to get Steve to look at him the same way Bucky sometimes did.
The possibility was there.
