Dana hated these trips, especially when she wasn’t even allowed to leave the plane, but daddy said he wouldn’t be more than a few hours. She had her phone, her lap top, and enough material from her college courses to keep herself entertained, but a half hour in with only herself and the pilot as occupants of the plane, she’s already bored. Finding Michael is easy enough to do and Dana even brings a peace offering with her - a few of the little bottles of alcohol from the mini bar her father keeps stocked on the plane because he hates flying and if he’s not fucking one of the stewardesses, he’s embracing his alcoholic nature he likes to pretend he doesn’t have. “Do you ever leave this place?” Dana asks Michael, who she finds in the cockpit, moving to lower herself into the second seat. “Thirsty?” Dana offers with a beaming smile, holding up one of the bottles, offering it to him. She knows enough about the pilot to know his name, where he’d grown, that he liked being a pilot and that he was incredibly handsome, but that’s the extent of Dana’s knowledge - still, she always finds a reason to talk to him every time they find a moment alone.
