Ever feel like writing a Children’s book shouldn’t be so basic? Or that your creative Sims are stuck skilling up before they can explore other genres? Not anymore! Now, every genre is open to your Sims, no matter their Writing Skill level. That’s right—from romance to sci-fi, they’re free to let their imagination run wild from the start!

And it gets better! At Writing Skill Level 2, Sims can Self-Publish on Simazon, while at Level 5, they can score deals by selling their work to a Publisher. If they hit Level 9, they can even Submit to the Literary Digest—the ultimate recognition!

Plus, uninspired Sims can break through Writer’s Block by heading to a relaxing Writing Retreat. Can’t afford it? No worries! There are fresh online tools to help boost creativity right from home! 🖥️✨

I’ve poured a ton of heart into this, and I can’t wait for you all to dive in.

Handwritten Hustlez: Take on gigs from the new custom (and Base Game compatible) job board and earn simoleons the pen-and-paper way. For players with the Seasons DLC, you'll find gigs tailored to the current time of year! Seasons is totally optional, though.

Journal Entries: Write down your feelings with entries tailored to your Sims mood. Re-read them to gain catharsis, or simply relive the moment! Not the secretive type? Upload them to your blog to share with the world!

Custom Notes: Personalize your notebook with reminders, bios, or anything your Sims need to jot down. Edit and view them at any time straight from the inventory!

Notebooking Skill: Unlock a hidden writing skill with rewards like entering competitions, new writing interactions, and more.

Child-Friendly Section: Even younger Sims can get in on the action with their very own writing features. Now they have their own genres too, and can take part in the unlockable Writing Competitions!

SimU Online Degrees (Discover University Req.)

Edit: 13th April 2024. Due to popular demand, I've recreated my Skill Classes mod into a separate addon and remade this one as standalone. I've also added more buffs and some quality of life edits. Please make sure you delete the old version if you have it as the file names differ.

This brand new version includes more buffs, notifications and better graphics.

Custom Uniforms Mod

Hi all,

Just a little mod to give you more control over your careers! It basically adds a shortcut to the EA cheat for editing career outfits — now you can do it easily from your Sim’s Phone (under Work), a Computer (under Career), and now directly from a Dresser. Your Sim must be in a career that has a uniform set for the option to appear.

The mod is completely Base Game Compatible — it only shows outfits that are actually available to your Sim!

SimU Online Skill Classes (BGC)

You will find a new option on your Phone and Computer for SimU, the online university where you can take Skill Classes in any subject. You can take a quick 20-40 minute class on your Phone for §5, or a longer class on your Computer for §10 with a bigger Skill boost. Instead of searching through pie menus, you will get a scrollable picker to choose the Skill you'd like your Sim to progress in. If they've maxed any Skills already, they won't appear, and any custom Skills you might own will also be available.

Includes different custom buffs and notifications once your online class is over.

Hey everyone,

I've overhauled my Power Outages mod, to ensure better compatibility with Eco Lifestyle (if you have it).

Your Sims can experience power cuts during storms (Seasons is a required pack), that can last for hours. They will have different buffs depending on their traits and lifestyles.

The eLearning Library interaction has been tweaked for better skill balance, and you can now unlock the ability to write Simazon reviews after reading a few books. Keep writing, and you’ll gain followers… and maybe even a tip!
