The Important One

(( Sorry for the late reply and the crappy title ;_; I'm not good with titles! >< ))

Helena gulped as she heard Jack said that something's not right. She nodded and stood closer to Jack. "O-Okay..." Just when she was about to grab Jack's hand, a sudden force pushed her into the room, making her fall into the darkness of her own room. "Ouch!" she yelled out as she fell to the floor. She that stared frantically at the opened door where Jack is standing, looking around. There was nobody there but Jack, and his moving shadow. ...Moving shadow?

"All you all right, Snowflake?" Jack asked her, concerned. He then saw something out of the corner of his eye. His shadow, moving around. He quickly turned around, staff at the ready. "Come out!" he screamed. "I know you're there!"

(( Did you get my reply, or did Tumblr ate my message again? It's been like five or six times I've tried to sent a reply, but I'm guessing Tumblr ate my messages over and over again, because you're replying others again and again. Sorry! ))

Helena nodded and smiled. "Come on, it's upstairs." She grabbed Jack's hand and led him to her room, or in this case, her 'sister's' room. She opened the door and turned on the lights. "... Huh?" she said as she tried to turn on the lights again. "It won't turn on. That's weird. If the power was cut, the whole house shouldn't have electricity in it. What is wrong with this room?" She tried turning on the lights again and again, but nothing happened, not even a flicker of light.

Jack looked around the dark room, gripping tightly onto his staff. "Something isn't right here," he said quietly. He stepped towards Helena and gave her a serious look. "Stay close to me, all right?"

(( Sorry for late reply! I was busy! >< )) They finally arrived at Helena's house. She took a deep breath and opened the front door. She snuck her head in and peeked around. "Henry? Are you home?" she called out to her twin brother, but no answer. "He's probably in his room, playing video games with his friends." Helena entered her house and opening the door wider, letting Jack in. "It's kind of small and cramped, sorry it's not that impressive..."

Jack looked around at the house. "No, I really like it!" he said. "I think it's quaint!" He turned to her and gave her a small smile. "Now, let's go check out your sister's room!"
