Wishing everyone a very Happy Summer Solstice!
Something about this girl screamed Mahiru.
It certainly wasn’t the attitude. From what he could tell, this girl was quiet and anxious. Mahiru went lengths against her family name just to talk to him, and this girl looked like she wanted to disappear. But he noticed she and his ex-lover had some visual similarities; long, straight hair and oddly colored eyes that shone with a hidden, yet twisted brilliance.
Guren was interested, to say the least.
“You okay? You look a little freaked out.” He said yo her, his voice containing an inking of concern.
@nursedespair
Guren was having fun, but without the alcohol.
Girls would ask him to dance, and he would comply. When they realized they wanted more, Guren was on to the next lay of the night. They would try to butter him up with compliments and needy words, but Guren would always politely decline.
This made him confident, for whatever reason. So much so he would be the one to ask this time.
“Excuse me, miss, would you like to dance?”
@roadtokamelot
Guren wasn’t sure why he was even here.
The party was nice and all, but Guren didn’t drink and he was pretty rusty at dancing. Staying on the sidelines was ideal, but his uniform would only make him stand out among the men of the ball. So he decided to go outside and stare at the moon and the stars, just in silent, unseen awe of their beauty.
But without a word, he turned away and stood against the wall. He saw another man near him. He seemed normal, except... His pointy ears. That set Guren on edge.
“Nice... Party, isn’t it?”
@vulcanheritage
The festivities were a little too hectic for Ivris, to say the least.
She sighed; the Guardian dressed to impress, and even put on make up to compliment, which was a rarity. But when she saw the sheer size of the event, she had to step out for a bit to breathe in a bit of fresh air before she could go back inside.
She glanced sideways at the girl near her, a small grin on her seemingly young face. "Some dance, right...?"
