This version of the pirate treasure map masquerade mask is bejeweled with natural amethyst,cultured freshwater pearls and sparkling crystals. (It was designed so that it could be worn with an extravagently feathered tricorn hat)

Sooooo.....I decided to make Master Yoda a tiny Kowakian lizard monkey masquerade mask, because..why not? Paper mache mask with faux fur (that definately did not get cut off the furry throw on my sofa, nope, not me -I’d never do something like that)

These are the smallest papermache Fly Agaric Toadstools I have ever made!

(The tiniest one is just 3cm high, all made from paper, apart from the terracotta pots, which were the inspiration for trying to make toadstools this small)

The last masquerade mask I made this year was a pheonix, a creature of renewal that emerges bright and beautiful, shimmering to life from its own ashes.

Well, there may not be any Christmas masquerade balls to attend this year, but let’s have a little bit of Yuletide glamour anyway!

Here’s something a little bit magical, in time for yule. This plump moongazing fox has a twinkling eye and is surrounded by a night sky full of sparkling stars ( I couldnt get the Swarovski elements to twinkle in these photos, but when this little heart is hung up and the light catches it, it really brings it to life.
