Me waking up after 5 hours of sleep to study for my exams
Any scientific paper that has "Response to..." in the title has a raw and unrestrained energy of aggression that no outright threat can possibly hope to reproduce.
Professor X: and therefore, these are the results of my experiments and here is my hypothesis based on that.
Professor Y, who thinks that's a Big Ole Pile of Bullshit:
IT IS DONE
I have taken my last exam for the semester! I am finally free from the looming demon of midterms.
The hiatus is now officially over! I am back, and boy am I glad to be.
I will need a few days to pull myself together and write a new Bestiary article, though. The last two months were a nonstop tempest of exam-taking so saying I'm exhausted would be somewhat of an understatement. You can expect the first new post in about four or five days' time.
Now before I drift off into post-midterms unconsciousness I would like to say: thank you. I didn't expect my readercount to exceed 2000 during a two-month long hiatus of all times, but here we are. We as in my 2000 (now 2100) followers and me. Thank you all for keeping up with all my bullshit schedule slips and long ass hiatuses, and for being patient with me. This blog is essentially a passion project, so I'm especially grateful to all of you who come on this blog intent on listening on my ranting about a special interest of mine. It means a lot, you guys.
So, stay tuned for the new episode of the Bestiary, and once again: thank you very much.

Last exam begins at 12am GMT
Fukkin pray for my soul please
HIATUS ENDS IN: 3 DAYS
New favorite thing: the chemical indicator named “Eriochrome Black T”, which doesn’t contain a single fucking chromium atom
Hiatus ends in: one week
I’ll need some time to catch my breath before I go back to writing articles, because boy howdy was this an intense month and a half. I’m having a plant anatomy exam tomorrow and an analytical chemistry exam next week, and then I’m done. I’ll rest a little and I’ll start the Bestiary back up.
Thank you all for holding out in these content-devoid periods.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
