All right, my fellow US citizens, today’s our big day! Have any questions about voting this year? Send them my way! Remember, there are plenty of states where you can still register to vote today and there are lots of organizations offering rides to the polls (and discounts on Lyft). If you still haven’t decided exactly who you’re voting for, head to ballotready.org to see all your candidates. Also check out your local newspapers and PBS websites for candidate comparisons and interviews. I know it’s easy to skip over all the judges on your ballot but if you were upset about that Brett Kavenaugh nonsense (not to mention the ongoing myriad of problems with our justice systems) then just google “judges” and your city or county and you’ll probably find straightforward ratings from your local bar associations. Or hop on injusticewatch.org for more thorough reviews. We can do this, friends! Your voice is important! I know candidates are imperfect but if nothing else vote for those who have been silenced throughout our nation’s history and around the world.

ME TOO MAKING IT BLUE

Well we’ve now seen what happens when the Republicans are in charge. We see what they stand for, and that they’ll do anything to have control. 

But they’ve made some big mistakes and to finally capitalize on it we need to vote Blue. 

With Republicans in power, Sexual Assault victims have been mocked by their leader the president. And those who commit such acts have found sanctuary within their party, and even power. 

So we need to change that. We need to not only recognize and lift those stories to be heard but also this midterm make it so that the Republicans can stop tolerating this behavior and making a mockery of the brave women who spoke up about their trauma and their suffering.

So I have a new slogan for this.

Voting this November is - we've said this before, now it's really fucking true - literally the most important election of our lifetime. Ever. More than a presidential election at this point. This is, like, the last call for democracy.
