slurred words
“MIG!” Marley squealed at the mention of her best friend. “Migaroo, Miggy Mig, my actual soul mate.” She paused. “Platonic, of course. But he is so, so, so pretty and I love him SO fuckin’ much.” Giggling, Marley covered her mouth at the use of the swear. “‘Scuse my language I just really cannot put into words how much I absolutely adore Mig.” A soft smile spread over her lips. “I honest to god don’t know what I’d do without him. He has seen me at my lowest, ugliest points in life and he still loves me. You know how wild that is? What a beautiful heart he has to have?! He just radiates love, y’know?” She grins. “I trust him more than I trust any other human on this planet and I would, without a doubt or second thought, lay down and die for him.” Nodding, Marley knocked back another shot. “He really did help me learn how to love myself again. And that I’m worthy of other people’s love. A lot of the reason I am the way I am is because of everything he’s done for me.” Marley had to stop, sighing and blinking back tears. “If y’all aren’t careful I’m gonna start cryin’ on ya. That’s how much I love Mig. You get one of us, you get both. Them’s the rules.”
