Bragi: What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to almost anything. A lot of techno music lately, though. Stuff by Caravan Palace and C2C. This is a playlist I put on often.

So when I was in middle school, we had gym class. While in the locker room, everyone was putting back on their normal clothing (we changed into gym cloths for gym ‘cause sweaty). After I used my brush, another student asked me if she could use it. I said sure, handed it to her. Then another student did. And after the second student used it, I said oh-so-casually “Oh just wash your hair twice tonight. I have lice.”

THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACES. MUAHAHA... Then I told them, “Just kidding!” and laughed harder. (I really didn’t have lice or anything.)

Eventually you’ll figure out what to do next, but for right this very instance, don’t worry about it. It’s okay to not have direction and it’s okay to not know what to do.

I know this probably isn’t the most helpful reading since it’s telling you to just do nothing but I hope it sorta maybe helps? ^^;;

Nonbinary Person, upside down

Normally this card would be about a confrontation with a nonbinary person, but I think in this case it’s confronting the gender essentialism within your witchcraft. Move away from that, and seek out witchcraft that doesn’t gender all the gosh darn things.

...That may not be helpful, so I’ll pull another card from another deck:

Sacred Pool, upright

This may be more helpful: focus on self-love and self-care with your witchcraft. Do spells that are about improving yourself, about loving yourself, about caring for yourself. 

This card is very much about self-reflection, so take some time to reflect on who you are as a person. You gotta know yourself before you can change yourself, after all. And knowing what’s up with you will also help find where your blocks are.

I don't know about any online encouraging artist collectives (I'm sure they exist tho) but DUDE, you should get a Patreon! I have some friends and professors who do this and seeing their small but devoted fanbase really helps them stay motivated on their projects. It could be beneficial for all, if this platform works for you C: Strop's lookin' super cool and I'm excited to see more of it!

Hey! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate them!The reason I don’t have a patreon is because I don’t really feel like I have any content. I suppose the idea is that patreon would force me to create content, but I don’t feel comfortable starting one, since I’m doing pretty alright for the most part and my full time job would make it hard to create content outside of Strop anyway. I’m considering making one after Strop’s been up for a little bit, but it’d mostly be around to help pay for an assistant to do flats for me, because ahaha hatred. The tiers would be “AN ASSISTANT” and then “TWO ASSISTANTS” I think patreon’s a great platform and I’ll definitely look into it when I feel like I deserve to haha

I will of course need resources! Someone is already pointing out how I missed some areas in the resources. I’m sure there are more books I’ve missed, youtube channels to add, etc etc.

But you ARE an expert! An expert of your own practice :) Please feel free to submit articles about how you celebrate holidays, or how you interact with the deities and entities, or how you set up an altar. These are all really important too!
