Mighty Man and Yukk. Recently became reacquainted with this old seventies cartoon. I loved the show as a kid, especially because of Yukk. I don’t know what Yukk looks like under that doghouse helmet thing of his, but I felt sorry for him that people and even inanimate objects like mirrors were horrified by his face. I like Yukk because he’s so sweet (like how he lavishes doggy kisses on his master Brandon Brewster/Mighty Man). I’ve been thinking of writing a fan fiction where one of Brandon’s younger female cousins comes to live with him and Yukk, and she and Yukk become friends. The cousin finds out about Brandon’s secret (that he’s Mighty Man) and, in an interesting plot twist, the cousin sees Yukk’s face without the doghouse on, but does NOT think he’s ugly or scarey looking.
