O México poderia ter saído com dignidade, mas colocou em campo @miguel_layun , que transformou a Seleção Mexicana num timeco de várzea. Que vergonha! Um timeco desse não merecia estar numa Copa do Mundo. #vergonha #vergonhamexicana #miguellayun #copa2018 #copadomundo2018 #brasilnacopa #jogodobrasil #brasilmexico

To Layundowski
The nickname started after he scored four goals against Santos at Estadio Corona in a cool 2014 Friday night. The former aguila is an elegant role model. He’s been a Mexican footballer who has been able to demolish all of the jokes made out of his early America days and has transformed them into an unprecedented admiration to the point that Mexico followers, who used to joke about his game, now get mad because Juan Carlos Osorio believes he could be a better right-back than left-back. At the end of it all, Layundowski can play as striker, and there will be no problem because he took risks; he left commodities in Mexico City to look for new dreams in Watford and Portugal. And everywhere where football has taken him, he’s been able to win the fans over with his humility and amazing work-ethic. Without a doubt, Chicharito, Hector Herrera, Jesus “Tecatito” Corona, and even someone like Jonathan dos Santos will get a lot of attention because of what they represent for Mexican football. Chicharito is Chicharito. Herrera played formidable games in last season’s Champions League to the point of getting the plaudits from most of Europe’s football analysts. Corona defies expectations with his decisions and turns them worthwhile as he did in San Pedro Sula. Jonathan was brought up in FC Barcelona and grew up playing the beautiful game besides players like Thiago Alcantara, Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, and Marc Bartra. Layun is not Mexico’s idol and will never be, but he possesses a career that encompasses everything a Mexican footballer must do in order to become successful, to be known, to be admired and to be adored. In Portugal, with Layundowski in the team, FC Porto has yet to lose an official game. His numbers with Maxi Pereira already surpass those of last season’s full-backs Danilo (Real Madrid) and Alex Sandro’s (Juventus), and we’re still in November. Viva Layundowski!
