Realm of the Fey!
As if I wasn’t going crazy over fairy mythos and stories already, this part of Miitopia kinda blew me away with its use of color and just...the general atmosphere. They have such simple effects used to so much effectiveness!

Greenhorne!
Pretty simple! Or pretty and simple! Even as the most standard fare of maps as far as RPGs is concerned, these are all lively and colorful, with not an ounce of dull to look at!
New Lumos!
It’s so rainy and cyberpunky and neony and GORGEOUS
It’s really hard to do a good looking sci-fi aesthetic, but New Lumos just NAILS IT
Neksdor!
Did someone say sun ray filter? Desert levels are super neat usually, but while the outside dunes were simplicity at its maximum potential, the inside of the Pyramid was possibly the most striking of the bunch! You’d need to see the shading on Miis and such to get the full idea, but!
So! Miitopia has a bunch of gorgeous backgrounds that I don’t see getting enough love or appreciation, so I took it upon myself to start recording these in posts! I am very excited to share these with people who haven’t played the game, too.
I wanna give each area its own degree of spotlight, though, so it’ll get a bit spammy! If you don’t wanna see any of it, please go ahead and blacklist the tag MiitoBackground!
