over the years of attempting to study in his apartment or sharehouse, whichever he happened to be living at, at the time, taehyung realized itwas nearly impossible – especially once he got yeontan. now that he’s madehimself comfortable in seoul, it’s not uncommon for him to be found sitting ina coffeehouse, sipping whatever sugary, warm drink he’d bought that timearound, eyes glued to his laptop – or his colour-coded notecards – or his studyguides, whatever he happened to be doing that time around. he also tends tofrequent them in between classes, as well as when he’s on his way back from orto his apartment.

flowers and friends, two of eleanor’s favorite...f things. when she moved to sinchon, she didn’t have many friends, what with the language barrier and cultural differences from when she grew up in new york, it was difficult for her to adapt. her plants were her sole companion, and as she made and lost friends, grew in and out of phases, they remained constant. 

she finds herself occupied with both. there’s a certain spring in her step as she makes her way down the path of beautifully kept flowers, but not so much as to leave mija behind. the other had inquired eleanor regarding her crafts, and although she only asked to be taught how to make pressed bookmarks, she brought it upon herself to start from the very beginning of the process: flower picking.

”this farm is the best in the city,” she says with a cheeky grin “i mean, it’s one of two, and i haven’t been to the other one...” a laugh leaves her curled lips, halting in her steps, short of a dramatic gasp. “lenten roses! i’ve never seen pink ones before, this is wonderful!” eleanor turns to the older girl, snipping air with scissors in hand. “do you know how to properly cut flowers?”

headcanon meme! - 🎄 at christmastime

christmas is a chaotic affair for the jung family; due to the nature of her job, getting off for the holidays is hard, and emily is often one of the doctors that volunteers to stay behind on the holiday and celebrate christmas with the rest of her family the day before. to date, emily has only actually made three official christmas dinners in the past five years, and sporadic appearances at the annual christmas party that her parents host. she would much rather stay at home with her son and a mini christmas tree, sipping hot chocolate as she watches him open presents. because at age five, waking up late to do so still feels like a special event for him, and it works in balance with her job at the hospital.

there’s nothing in nature that appeals to him, but he doesn’t hate it either. the quiet of it can be nice, but how peaceful it can be is offset by the amount of insects he has to be in contact with. he would much rather be in the comfort of his own home than out in nature.
