Hey if you're not sick of being mad at the Astros yet, Bleacher Report published a really strong article yesterday about the effect of the sign stealing scandal on journeyman pitchers. Many of these pitchers feel it may have cost them their shot in the majors. A few guys also shared that Astros players "generously" warned them after a rough outing that they were tipping pitches. The article also touches on how the can banging would continue even in blowout games, long after a win was virtually assured, presumably in order to pad hitters' numbers.
A central theme in the article is Mike Bolsinger's lawsuit against the Astros, announced last month, which demands that they be stripped of the financial rewards for their 2017 win and the money given to charity. Obviously, it'll be a long time before we see anything from the case, but it's one to watch.
