Rob Hall comes from behind…

On Saturday, the 30th of July, 2016, Shooters Snooker Club in Toronto, ON hosted the “4-9” Amateur 9 Ball tour #6. There were a total of 27 players registered. The Calcutta was performed at 12:30pm and the games begun at 1:15pm. After a few exciting matches, the update was as follows:

A Side Final: Sumon Sarkar vs Mike Fischer

B Side Semi Final: Rob Hall vs Jehlar Fernandez

Sumon Sarkar defeated Mike Fischer by 8 games to 5 moving on towards the Hot Seat of this tour #6. Rob Hall on the other hand beat Jehlar by 9 games to 4 and was ready to play Mike Fischer. He then thrashed Mike Fisher by 9 games to 2.

Rob Hall then advanced to play Sumon and had to beat him only once as this was a tour. Rob Hall played extremely well and beat Sumon Sarkar by a score of 9-5 and claimed the championship title! Shoutout to Rob Hall who was sent earlier to the B Side but he stayed calm and contained whilst fighting his way up to the Winners bracket!

Mike Fischer played well and took third place respectively!

Mike Fischer stays undefeated…

On Saturday, the 23rd of July, 2016 Shooters Snooker Club in Toronto held the “9 and under” race to handicap 9 Ball event. Saturday kicked in and the Calcutta was performed at 12:00. Games begun at 12:45 which led to the following update:

A Side Final: Mike Fischer vs Kirk Mickey

B Side Semi Final: Rob Hall vs Brad Guthrie

Mike Fischer thrashed Kirk McKeen by 8 games to 3 moving on to the hot seat of this event. Rob Hall lost to Brad Guthrie 7-1 on the B Side. Brad then advanced and beat Kirk McKeen by 7 games to 6 leaving Kirk on the 3rd position. Mike Fischer stayed focused on his stroke which led him towards his victory. Mike defeated Brad by 8 games to 5. Congratulations to all the winners of this event!

Mike Fischer Remains Undefeated!

The second event of the Amateur “4-9” 9 Ball series was held in Shooters Snooker Club in Toronto, ON. It was a warm Saturday and 32 players attended this series. Shooters Snooker Club was packed that day as there were GPL Regional Playoffs being held on the other end. The Calcutta was done at about 11:30 and the games began sharply at 12:00 noon. Players advanced both sides and the update was as follows:

A Side Final: Mike Fischer vs Isaac Ramos

B Side Semi- Final: Jun Briones vs Darwin Madriaja

Mike Fischer was very confident with his game as he beat Isaac Ramos by 8 games to 6 whilst Jun Briones was sent to the B side earlier and came up all the way to beat Darwin Madriaja hill- hill. Jun was on fire as he was now going to face Isaac Ramos for the B Side final. Jun then stayed composed and beat Isaac Ramos 8-6 to seal the B Side Victory. All in all, it depended on the last game whereby Mike Fischer wasn’t able to be defeated due to his game arrangement and tactics. It was indeed a victorious day for Mike as he remained Undefeated!!
