Not all C64 games had music originally composed for the game and there are lots of C64 tunes which are rip offs of popular music of the time
I originally started by looking up Vangelis music and that lead me to Jean Michel Jarre and that had a closer connection with the Commodore 64. Martin Galway, Mark Cooksey Rob Hubbard and Ben Daglish. All great composers for the machine
