Vote honourably!

It may be argued that to vote as the British system expects you to, by putting your mark next to the name of a candidate - it doesn't matter which one - you are condoning by participation a system which ensures that your vote is meaningless.

Mike Small is right! Nothing of what is being offered in this election is worthy of our support. The British state is a Tory state. You might vote the Tories out of office. I’ve probably watched Braveheart three or four times. I could watch Mel Gibson’s 1995 ‘arse and archery’ epic again today and still enjoy it. It’s that kind of movie. A fine piece of cinematic story-telling replete with powerful characters and rich in visual spectacle. It’s a bit of fun. But is it more than that? Is Braveheart culturally or politically important?
