2. a famous person i’ve been compared to.
Er... I generally get compared, rather shallowly I find, to Asian celebrities because I'm of Asian descent.
3. 5 things that irritate me about the same sex/opposite sex.
I'm assuming it's whichever sex I'm attracted to? Although... I find myself to be rather pansexual in that I'm attracted to human beings in general, if they are attractive. Anyway, I don't think I can lump every member of one sex in and say this is what irritates me about them, unless I was talking about biology. Like... I'm irritated that this sex grows facial hair? I don't know. This is a hard question. xDD I'll make this a list. I like lists.
Judging people by what they like, rather than what they are.
People tend to try and impose their morality on other people. The more absurdly puritanical their morals are, the harder they try to impose it. It amuses more than irritates me tbh.
The entire idea of sexuality. I can go into essays about this but I feel like the divisions of sexuality we have in society now is a social rather than natural construct. Nothing is ever as so clearly divided as LGB and maybe even T.
Inability to process the idea of friendship or love without sexual attraction. Not saying that I'm against sexual attraction but there is a whole spectrum of things besides that.
Taking things too seriously. I can't take anything serious enough. What is life but an absurd joke played on us? Why not laugh about it?
This has been far too long and it's like nearly 4 am. What am I even doing?
22. 5 things i want to change.
About the world? Can I say about the world?
I'm a socialist. I'd rather like to see human dignity take precedence to economic growth, as shocking as that may be for some people to imagine.
The stringency of borders. I understand the idea of protecting your own citizens and all that stuff, and I'm not a globalist by any means, (I'm rather patriotic about my Canadianness) but the idea of the nation-state, in the present conception, is something that I find inherently flawed.
A bit less of economic inequality. I mean, I don't want a complete communist system, but I'd like to see more equality between say, Warren Buffett and the homeless person who begs outside the bank. And don't tell me that the rich earned what they got and the homeless person is probably just lazy because that is ignorant and untrue.
I wish people read a bit more outside their comfort zone. I wish Rightists would read Marx and Leftists would read Rand.
I should rule the world. If I did, you may ignore all of the four points above. We will be a Canadian state of maple syrupy goodness.
Jesus, this is long. Bed now. :)
