#HotTake but i don’t think jonathan is mikephobic like At all. i mean, hopper definitely is and although he would be really happy for mike and will he also would be suuper pissed at mike for dating one of his kids again Lol. but lately i’ve been seeing a lot of hc’s of jonathan also being really annoyed with mike and annoyed that will likes mike. but honestly, although he clocked them in s4 and was ??, the only time mike was really an asshole that he saw was at the airport, and he and will quickly made amends so i don’t think jonathan would hold a grudge.
like jonathan knows this boy since he was a KID and he knows how much will cares for mike and how much mike Also cares for will. i think he would’ve been protective of will and idk maybe he would have a talk with mike, but he would be sooo happy for both of them and every time i see people (either in fics or whatever) portaging a mean jonathan to mike i just… don’t buy at all.
