Did you expect us to readers to like Mikey that much or did we surprise you? 😄

I always know if I want readers to find a character sympathetic or not, but I’m usually surprised the degree to which they do!

For example, I remember when I wrote chapter thirteen of Under My Skin (aka, the Gemma chapter), I said to myself as I wrote draft one, “Now, Gemma has got to be sympathetic character. People have got to like her.”

Yeah. Now she has her own fucking book XD
