The truth of it was that he had lost the way he’d gotten up. Jumping was an option, true, but that would cause quite a scene. This tree was in the middle of town, you see, and a sudden Twin Flow appearing from the sky would definitely cause a ruckus. So his option was manually climbing down… if he… could find the branches he’d used to get up here…
“Quit gawking and help.” Or at least get that infuriating little simper off your face…
Well, she hadn’t meant to stare- it was just a fairly amusing sight to come across. Meebo stuck in a tree- Meebo in a Treebo. However, amusing as her ingenious nicknames were, she probably shouldn’t leave him there.
“Well, I suppose I could help you if you asked nicely. Say please, and I could probably lend you a hand.”

“A whole year, huh? Can’t believe it’s been that long.” Actually, Alvin could. “I have a little surprise for you two.” He flashed them both a grin.
“You heard they’re planning to remodel the building, right?” And Alvin hadn’t particularly wanted to move. “We’ll be living down a floor for the next six weeks, but when they’re done, we’re getting a couple more rooms added to this place.”
“We make a really good team, don’t we?” What a year it’s been, since they’d set out on this journey together. They’ve seen a lot, learned a lot, grew a lot-- and no doubt with many more challenges to overcome ahead.

“The Shaikos ruins? Yeah, I’ve been there. Not too far in, though. You see a nest of basilisks, you don’t go much further on your own.” Alvin shifted in his seat, sizing up the other two men. The Adventurers’ Guild had had plenty of rumors about these two; ruin-crazy and on the hunt for history.
He’d admit his curiosity was piqued, and that their enthusiasm was well beyond the last couple clients he’d had. It was refreshing. “If you’re looking for some backup, I’m in.”

Rose closed her eyes, taking a moment to steady herself. The world was teetering slightly, thick and rough and her chest felt heavy with the malevolence. This area was seeped through with it, but she couldn’t rest. This river basin was the source of water that ultimately fed into Pendrago and the fields people relied on for food.
Gathering herself, she opened her eyes and started moving again. “Alright Mikleo, onto the next creek.” They’ve been working on purifying this area for days straight now.
