I recently asked a question on whether my boyfriend likes me or not, lots of people were saying "no he doesn't" "he's just using you". I've thought about what i should do for a while now, today i broke up with him. I thought "well if he doesnt like me why be with him" but I still really like him and i know its going to take a while for me to get over him but i really like him. I'm afraid I'm not very adept when it comes to relationships -- I've been told I should stick to the science of things rather than the emotional aspects -- but! I know that emotions are very finicky things and can tell you one thing even when you know another thing is the actual truth.

As for your situation, if you thought it over and decided that ending your relationship was the best thing to do, then remind yourself why you thought that -- think about the observations from other people, along with your own, and while you should make sure you made the decision for yourself and not for everybody else, you should also remember that you did make the decision for a reason.

If you want to tell him you're still interested after everything, then I think the best thing to do would be to just tell him, as honestly as you can. They say that honesty is the best policy -- and it's usually true. Be honest with yourself and with him, and hope for the best.
