oh also! what's your opinion on single-gem gems having more than two eyes in terms of canon-ness? i'm torn on it since they control their design, and can choose to look like other gems if they're in it for some hijinks- but at the same time, multiple-eyes seem to be fusion-exclusive on the show and sapphire only has the one eye so idk

Hmm I'd say go for it! Gems are aliens- they aren't held to human's standards of what's "normal". As far as canon goes, it’s true that most single-gem Gems have two eyes (with the exception of Sapphire) but I think it’s perfectly fine to have more than two eyes!

I once read that a good way to price your commissions is to find out how long a piece (of whatever style) takes you, then multiply that by your state's rate for minimum wage- so, that's the baseline to make sure you're not underpricing yourself! other than that, from a consumer standpoint & someone who's seen a lot of commissions, your prices for your headshots seem affordable to me- even on the cheap side! (ALSO your art is really lovely and i'm gonna stalk through your blog now!)

Yeah I’ve heard about that and it’s very helpful, but for me my timing varies because I’ll get easily distracted by things or take little breaks when I’m still working on drawings.
