“Thanks for your help.” Harry waves off the attendant in the office before he makes his way down the hall. Being back on campus isn’t easy - it’s a bit like a constant ache, a dull reminder of what’s missing. He needs to finalise some details for summer and the classes he’ll be taking, but he and Gwen were supposed to be doing this together. She was going to be taking classes too, and maybe not for the same reason as Harry but that didn’t matter. They were going to be there together.
Still, he knows she’s probably going to come back to haunt him - quite literally - if he loses focus now, so... here he is. He’ll be back here in a few weeks for classes, but for now he just wanders through the campus, wanting to take some time here, hoping the longer he’s here the less it hurts. And he’s so lost in trying to find that familiar feeling again that he very narrowly avoids walking into someone. “Whoa - I’m so sorry, are you alright?” He asks quickly, catching himself and spinning around to make sure the guy’s alright.
