Rachel wasn't afraid per say to go into the asylum that'd been abandoned for years, but only worried they would be caught. Miles dragged her out of the house and into the depths of the woods where the asylum stood.  As he parked the car in the lot, Rachel got out and lingered by her door.

"Miles, I don't know about this -- it's a recipe for disaster."

29. Your muse walks in on mine being sick

Drinking water from the lake on a desperate whim was probably the dumbest thing Rachel had done yet -- and she'd done a lot of stupid things. Another trip to the bathroom ending with her sitting on the floor, in front of the white bowl in which she had become most acquainted with the past couple of days. It was only when Rachel heard the door open did she lift her head and notice Miles standing in the doorway.
