Do you have any tips on drawing patton and logan because i want to draw them but i can never get the face / glasses right
I say you look at references! and not just at pictures of patton and logan. Then you can break down the faces to basic shapes, kinda like this!
My challenge is to use the same glasses for the both of them so it becomes harder for me to make them look different. But you can do whatever you want! Start with “stick figure” expressions. It helps a lot.
I draw the hair differently, like 99% of the artists on this fandom lol. Patton’s more wild, more floof. Logan looks like he ironed his and flattened it on purpose.
Then you change the simple expressions to whatever your drawing style is! I never stay consistent to my drafts. Sometimes the expressions change altogether lmao.
Cleaned it up a bit too. I know this looks a lot like the tutorial meme like “step 1 draw two circles, step 2 draw the rest of the drawing lmao” But I can’t tell you exactly what to do since everyone’s technique is different, and some more precise advices maybe won’t help you at all!
Take screenshots of the boys. Trace over them to find the simplest way to line them. Grasp the basic shapes the glasses take on the head. Make a list of what you feel is different between the two characters, and put as much of these as you want in your drawings of them! Good luck, and don’t give up!!
