Maren

It's been a few days. I'm still in shock. Maren and I weren't the closest, but we did recently get close in the JLaw Drama club. You've been the kindest, sweetest girl I've known, ever since we met in middle school. You probably always will be. I will miss you dearly, sweet baby.

Meg's been pretty shaken up all day. She was five feet away from a senseless killing involving two of her peers and the older brother of one of her friends, over something as silly as a prom date. I hope justice is swift for the attacker. It's been a few years since I've walked the halls of Jonathan Law, but the people you spend those four years with become very close, and when a promising life is taken away much too soon, you can only feel remorse. My thoughts go out to that poor girl's family, I can only imagine what they are going through. Don't forget to love today.
